Overview
Publicator AI is a paid AI content platform that researches, writes and schedules SEO articles for your website.
The Publicator AI Webflow app publishes those articles into a CMS collection on your Webflow site automatically — including the rich text body, featured image, excerpt, meta title and description, categories, tags and publish date. A Designer Extension panel inside the Webflow Designer lets you connect your Publicator AI project and configure the integration.
The Designer Extension is available in English (default), Hungarian, German, Spanish, Italian and Slovak.
Requirements & pricing
- A paid Publicator AI subscription. Plans are billed every 4 weeks; prices are in Hungarian forints (HUF). A regular sign-up starts a paid subscription; the Autopilot free trial is available only when you start from the free-trial page.
- A Webflow site with CMS. The CMS item limits of your Webflow site plan apply — each published article is one CMS item.
| Plan | Price / 4 weeks | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Publisher | 12,000 HUF | — |
| Autopilot | 40,000 HUF | Includes a 5-day free trial when you start from the free-trial page (in Hungarian): card required, max. 3 articles during the trial, one trial per email address. |
| Concierge | 400,000 HUF | — |
For current prices and plan details see publicator.ai/arazas (in Hungarian).
Step 1 — Install the app
- 1Install the Publicator AI app in Webflow with the install link you received (the Webflow Marketplace listing is coming soon).
- 2Choose the site you want to use, review the permissions and click Authorize.
- 3You are taken back to the Webflow Designer with the app open.
Step 2 — Create an account and get your API key
- 1Create an account at publicator.ai/register and a project for your website — make sure Webflow is selected as the platform (this link preselects it).
- 2In the dashboard, open your project → Integrációk (Integrations) in the menu → the Webflow csatlakozás (Webflow connection) card.
- 3Under Projekt API kulcs (Project API key) click Másolás (Copy). Your Project API key starts with
sk_.
Alternative: instead of the API key you can sign in inside the app with your publicator.ai email and password and pick a project. This is not available for accounts created with Google sign-in — use the API key instead.
Already have a project on another platform? Switch it to Webflow in the dashboard under Beállítások (Settings) → Oldal csatlakozás (Site connection).
Step 3 — Connect in the Designer
- 1In the Webflow Designer open the Apps panel and launch Publicator AI.
- 2Paste your API key (or sign in and pick a project), then click Connect.
- 3Click Connect this site to link the Webflow site that is open in the Designer to your Publicator AI project.
Step 4 — Choose the article collection
Pick an existing CMS collection or let the app create a new one. The app adds the following fields to the collection if they are missing:
| Field | Used for |
|---|---|
| Content | The article body (Rich text) |
| Excerpt | Short summary of the article |
| Featured Image | The article’s cover image |
| Meta Title | SEO title |
| Meta Description | SEO description |
| Categories | Article categories |
| Tags | Article tags |
| Published At | Publish date |
| Status | Publication status |
Then design the collection template page in the Webflow Designer, and in its page settings bind the SEO Title and Meta Description to the Meta Title and Meta Description fields.
Step 5 — Publishing
- Articles you schedule in Publicator AI are created as CMS items in your collection and published live automatically.
- Unpublishing, archiving or deleting an article’s item in Webflow is reflected back in Publicator AI.
Other tabs in the app
- Categories & tags
- Sends the categories and tags already used on your collection’s items to Publicator AI.
- Appearance
- Reads your site’s color and font Variables in the Designer, so articles match your brand. Nothing is sent to Publicator AI until you click Approve & sync.
- Status
- Connection checks, plus a test that creates a draft item in your collection and deletes it immediately.
Permissions & data
The app requests only these Webflow OAuth scopes:
| Scope | Why the app needs it |
|---|---|
sites:read | Read your site’s details (to open the Designer after install) and list the app’s own webhooks. |
sites:write | Register the app’s webhooks, so item status changes in Webflow are synced back to Publicator AI. |
cms:read | List your collections, their fields and items. |
cms:write | Create the article collection and its fields, and create, update, publish and delete the app’s article items. |
The app does not access your Assets library, site configuration (robots.txt / llms.txt), custom code, forms, pages, or your Webflow user profile.
The app does not add any code or scripts to your published site. It only creates and updates the article items in the CMS collection you choose.
Webflow OAuth tokens are stored encrypted on Publicator AI servers and are never exposed to the browser.
Disconnect & uninstall
- Disconnect in the app (or Kapcsolat bontása on the Integrációk page) revokes Publicator AI’s Webflow access token and clears the connection settings (linked site and collection). If the same token is still used by another Webflow site connected to Publicator AI, it is not revoked — only this site’s copy is deleted.
- To uninstall the app, go to your Webflow Site settings → Apps & integrations. Uninstalling removes the app’s access to your site. If you reinstall the app later, the site’s existing link to your Publicator AI project is kept.
- In both cases, articles already published stay on your site as CMS items.
Troubleshooting
“Invalid API key”
Copy the key again from the dashboard (Integrációk → Webflow csatlakozás → Projekt API kulcs → Másolás) and paste the whole key, starting with sk_. If a new key was generated (Új kulcs), the old one stops working immediately — paste the new one.
“Project inactive”
Your Publicator AI project has no active subscription. Activate or renew your plan in the publicator.ai dashboard (Előfizetéseim — My subscriptions), then connect again.
“This project is connected to another platform”
Your Publicator AI project is connected to another platform (for example WordPress). Disconnect it there first, or use a Publicator AI project created for this Webflow site. You can change a project’s platform in the dashboard under Beállítások (Settings) → Oldal csatlakozás (Site connection).
“This project is connected to a different Webflow site”
A Publicator AI project can be linked to one Webflow site. Disconnect the other site first (with Disconnect in the app on that site, or Kapcsolat bontása on the Integrációk page), or create a separate Publicator AI project for this site.
“The collection has required fields”
The selected collection has other required fields that the app cannot fill, so it cannot be used. Create a new collection from the app instead.
“This link has expired or was already used”
The authorization window was opened from an old or already used link. Close it and start again with Connect this site in the app in the Webflow Designer.
“You authorized a different Webflow site”
In the Webflow authorization window you selected a different site than the one open in the Designer. Try again and select the same site.
Webflow rate limit or a temporary Webflow error
Webflow limits how many requests an app can make in a short time. Wait a few minutes and try again.
The connection window does not open
Your browser blocked the pop-up. Allow pop-ups for the Webflow Designer in your browser’s site settings, then click Connect this site again.
